On Saturday, December 7th, DHF Athletics will host a Combine Testing Event from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM at Denver Health and Fitness (North).
Check-in / Registration: 10:30 -10:45 AM
Each participant should bring cleats (no metal cleats), water bottle, and snacks.
$25 / Athlete
Who Should Attend?
This event is designed for athletes ranging from middle school students to members of the graduating class of 2025 who are eager to elevate their game to the next level. Whether you’re honing your skills, aiming to stand out, or preparing to compete at higher levels, this opportunity is tailored to help you succeed.
The results can be used in recruiting efforts and compared to national standards, giving athletes a competitive edge in their journey to college athletics.
What to Expect?
Athletes will compete in the following events:
40-Yard Dash
Pro Agility (5-10-5 yrd)
A laser-timed drill evaluating the ability to move and change direction efficiently.
Vertical Jump
Measured using jump mats to assess lower body explosiveness.
Broad Jump
A test of linear lower body power through a distance jump.
Bench Press (185 lbs max reps)
A measure of upper body strength and endurance.
Push-Ups
Max push-ups to evaluate upper body strength and endurance.
Pull-Ups
Max pull-ups testing upper body endurance and strength.

Data for Recruiting
Results will be posted on the DHF website and shared with high school and college coaches. Athletes can also share their results on social media platforms to increase visibility.
Meet Professor Tom Caruso
Professor Tom Caruso will lead the Combine. With 15 years of experience at Providence Day School and four consecutive state football championships, Coach Caruso has guided countless athletes to success. His impressive roster includes D1 athletes and professionals such as:
- Anna Cockrell – 2024 Olympic Silver Medalist (400m Hurdles)
- Ikem Ekwonu – Carolina Panthers
- Grant Williams – Charlotte Hornets
